Love is essential for us. No matter what is said or is done to you, authentic love will have you react in a loving way. Authentic love speaks truth in kindness and does not expect a return in the investment. Authentic love breaks down the superficial walls of selfishness. You can callous yourself to where you don't think you care anymore. Hatred is not the opposite of Love, it is indifference.
